Palantir Technologies — Remote / Palo Alto, CA — Software Engineer Intern
- Worked on the development of a multi-service product with thousands of frequent users. Focused on the Java-based back-end, but also worked on the front-end and got exposed to many other technologies.
- Iterated with designers, back-end and front-end developers based on user feedback to develop and ship a number of user-facing features and performance improvements.
- Achieved constant collaboration by quickly planning and presenting ideas to the team.

BTG Pactual — São Paulo, Brazil — IT Summer Analyst
- Worked on the development of a large financial valuation application.
- Responsible for developing a series of features visible to users, directly impacting user experience.
- Identified algorithmic and database optimizations, reducing a given calculation's execution time and memory usage in up to 50% and making other slow operations instantaneous to the user.
- Refactored a large grid system in C#/WinForms critical to the application's maintenance, while preserving full backward compatibility, reducing a 15000-line module by 56%.
